In vitro study | Besifloxacin is a new and potent 8-chloro-fluoroquinolone drug with antibacterial activity against common pathogens and resistant bacteria. Besifloxacinis is the most effective drug that has been tested against gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria, and the effect on most Gram-negative bacteria is comparable to that of fluoroquinolones. The potent and broad-spectrum antibacterial effect of Besifloxacin is particularly noteworthy for its good antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to other fluoroquinolones and antimicrobial agents. |
